An art world veteran with two decades of experience at the world’s leading auction houses—Christie’s, Sotheby’s, Phillips, and Bonhams—Kristen de Bruyn brings an unrivaled depth of knowledge to the art advisory process. Her perspective is shaped by a unique intersection of high-level market strategy and the intimate narratives that connect people to objects.

During her 15-year tenure at Christie’s, most recently as Vice President, Head of Digital Experience, Kristen drove global auction strategy and client engagement for some of the house’s most iconic collections. Today, she translates that executive-level expertise into a personalized service for individual collectors. Whether navigating the nuances of a gallery negotiation or providing valuation insights based on current market data, Kristen demystifies the art world with transparency and professional integrity.

A Candidate for Accredited Membership with the Appraisers Association of America and USPAP compliant, Kristen provides the rigorous standard of care required for high-value acquisitions and collection management.

Beyond advisory, Kristen is a dedicated champion of emerging talent, providing strategic marketing and exhibition planning for artists. She is the creator and host of the Art + Soul salon series—intimate, educational gatherings that foster meaningful connections between artists and the collecting community.

Kristen holds a degree in Art History from UCLA, with specialized studies in Appraisals & Art Advisory from Christie’s Education and Arts Management from UMass Amherst. Recognized for her transparent approach and professional integrity, she is driven by a genuine passion for the narratives that shape every collection.
